Product Manager [IC4]
Sourcegraph
Description
Sourcegraph — the code intelligence platform used by Stripe, Reddit, and Leidos to navigate massive codebases, backed by a16z, Sequoia, and Redpoint — is hiring a Product Manager at the IC4 (Senior) level, working fully remotely from almost anywhere in the world (preference for EST or Europe; 20-hour EST overlap required). You'll be the primary PM supporting a small, fast-moving engineering organization spanning multiple teams — working across Code Search, Deep Search, MCP, and Agentic Batch Changes to shape the infrastructure that lets engineering teams and their AI agents operate with confidence on large-scale codebases. The role combines customer discovery (spending significant time directly with customers to understand developer workflows and pain points), cross-team prioritization (owning the roadmap across several engineering teams), product specification (translating customer problems into clear requirements and success criteria), and launch execution (guiding features from experimentation through beta and general availability). You need enough technical depth to discuss implementation tradeoffs credibly and prior software engineering or substantial coding experience is required. This is a startup-like environment with broad ownership and fast context change. Compensation is zone-based and fully transparent: IC4 starting salaries are Zone 2: $167,200 · Zone 3: $125,400 · Zone 4: $83,600, plus meaningful equity.
