Offchain Labs
Offchain Labs built the Arbitrum stack that powers Arbitrum One, the most widely adopted Ethereum scaling solution in use today. Over 100 teams have used Offchain Labs technology to build their own Arbitrum chains, and major players including Robinhood, BlackRock, Ethena Labs, Securitize, Aave and Apechain all use the Arbitrum stack. The company is backed by $124 million in funding.
THE ROLE
As Corporate Development Senior Associate, you would identify, evaluate and execute M&A and strategic investment activity that shapes Offchain Labs' position in the blockchain ecosystem.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Support M&A and strategic investment activity end to end: screen and evaluate targets, lead market and operating diligence across engineering, product, legal and finance, build valuation models, write investment memos, and support leadership on deal structuring and negotiation.
Own post-merger integration planning and execution, defining the integration thesis prior to signing and driving the workstreams required to realise deal objectives.
Support fundraising preparedness by maintaining diligence-ready materials, data rooms, financial models and KPI reporting, and managing process timelines during live processes.
Develop strategic business cases for new opportunities, including market and competitive analysis, deal or partnership economics, and execution roadmaps. Drive internal strategy communications and build relationships with blockchain founders and industry leaders while maintaining an organic pipeline of opportunities.
WHAT YOU NEED
4 to 6 years in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, management consulting, or a corporate development or strategic finance function. Direct involvement in at least one M&A or fundraise process from start to close, with real ownership of workstreams. Genuine fluency in crypto, with crypto-native work experience strongly preferred. Strong financial modelling and market sizing skills, including in segments where public data is limited. Exceptional written and visual communication, able to build an executive-ready deck without hand-holding. Bachelor's degree.
PERKS
Remote-first global workforce plus a New York office. Professional reimbursement programme covering conference attendance and certifications. Medical, dental and vision coverage for the US and some other countries. 401(k) retirement plan with company match, US only. Wellness stipend and a home office set-up allowance.
LOCATION
Remote-first and described as a global workforce. This role cannot be performed in California or Colorado. Full benefits including the 401(k) match are US-only, while medical coverage extends to some other countries as well, so the depth of benefits will depend on where you are based; confirm specifics during the process.
