You can know your own experience perfectly and still answer badly, because saying it out loud under pressure is a different skill from having done the work. Most people discover this during the interview that mattered.
Practising with a friend is awkward to arrange and they are too kind to tell you that you said “um” forty times or talked for four minutes without answering the question.
How it works

What it looks like
Common questions
Is my audio or video recorded?+
No. Your camera view is on screen for your own benefit so you can see how you present, but nothing is uploaded or stored. Delivery metrics are computed in your browser as you speak, and only the numbers are saved.
How accurate are the filler word counts?+
Treat them as a floor rather than a precise total. Browser speech recognition strips many hesitation sounds before the tool ever sees them, so the real count is usually higher than the number shown.
Can I practise in another language?+
Yes, several are supported. Pace guidance is only shown for languages where the words-per-minute bands are meaningful; filler word detection covers a wider set.
Does it work for non-technical roles?+
Yes. Questions come from the posting, so a seasonal hospitality role and a senior engineering role produce very different sessions.
