Katikies Hotels is hiring a Chef de Partie for its Mykonos and/or Santorini properties, on a seasonal contract.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Working an assigned station as set by the Executive Chef and Sous Chef. Organising the station and fulfilling ordering and preparation sheets each shift. Preparing and cooking all food items to recipe, quality and presentation standards. Operating kitchen equipment including braising pans, ovens, grills, fryers and vacuum-pack machines safely. Maintaining cleanliness and food safety at the station, storing goods correctly and labelling stock. Minimising waste and controlling food cost against forecast. Assisting other kitchen team members as needed.
REQUIREMENTS
A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar position, ideally at a 5-star luxury hotel. Ability to read and follow recipes precisely. Good hygiene knowledge and HACCP standards. Ability to work fast and accurately under pressure. Strong organisational and interpersonal skills. Excellent command of English.
Unlike the front-of-house roles at Katikies, this listing requires only English, not Greek, since it is a back-of-house kitchen position.
