Staff Software Engineer (SRE)

Phantom, the multi-chain crypto wallet, is hiring a Staff Software Engineer (SRE). The posting states "Remote from Anywhere" with no geographic restriction.

You will manage and scale Kubernetes clusters on AWS EKS with a focus on reliability, performance, and security, implement infrastructure-as-code using Terraform or Pulumi for provisioning automation, monitor and optimize system performance, scalability, and resource utilization, configure and maintain crypto nodes across multiple blockchains, optimize and scale database infrastructure handling terabytes of blockchain data, improve system uptime and observability using Datadog and OpenTelemetry, and collaborate with backend and product teams on feature development and scaling.

Requirements: 8+ years in SRE or Software Engineer roles, production-grade Kubernetes (EKS) hands-on experience, AWS infrastructure proficiency (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM), Docker and infrastructure-as-code tool expertise (Terraform/Pulumi), and monitoring/observability experience with Datadog or OpenTelemetry.

Compensation: $200,000-$250,000 USD annual base salary, plus equity, bonus eligibility, 100%-covered medical/dental/vision, a remote work stipend, and unlimited vacation.
