Research and assess payroll vendors globally against criteria such as disaster recovery, compliance, data security and processing timeliness. Develop vendor questionnaires, coordinate demonstrations and present cost-benefit analyses to leadership. Manage end-to-end onboarding for new markets including vendor selection, contract negotiation, legal risk mitigation, system migration and stakeholder communication. Monitor vendor compliance with SLAs and KPIs and optimize communication channels. Audit invoices against contract terms, track cost anomalies and identify efficiency improvements. Partner with tax, finance, legal, security and operations teams to deploy payroll solutions and train staff.
Established background in regional or global payroll vendor operations and multi-country payroll software implementation. Demonstrated experience managing third-party vendor relationships and negotiating contracts. Comprehensive knowledge of international payroll compliance and best practices. Superior organizational skills, attention to detail and spreadsheet proficiency. Fluent written and spoken English. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, distributed, asynchronous international environment. Ability to develop training materials and documentation. Must be legally eligible to work in Spain or Portugal. Prior remote work experience is a plus but not required.
