Guesthouse & Museum Help Workaway Volunteer

Raluca and Mihai, a young family, run a guesthouse in Viscri, a UNESCO-protected Saxon village in Transylvania, Romania, and are hosting Workaway volunteers.

You will help serve food to guests, maintain an ecological garden, and support museum work, including giving guided tours in foreign languages and helping supervise a creative corner where visitors draw and paint.

In exchange, you get a paid rate of EUR3/hour plus a private room and bathroom with free WiFi, and authentic Romanian food made with local, organic garden produce.

Minimum stay is one month. Non-EU citizens will need an appropriate visa (not sponsored by the host). The hosts welcome digital nomads, families, and campervan parking, and value people interested in history, traditional architecture, and nature.
