Guesthouse Helper Workaway Volunteer

Gonzalo (from Spain) and his Malaysian wife Katrina run a beachside guesthouse in Pantai Cenang, Langkawi, Malaysia, and are hosting Workaway volunteers.

You will help with cleaning, carrying things, organising, and assisting with guest check-ins and check-outs, room maintenance and sheet changes, in five-hour shifts (morning or afternoon rotations, two days off per week). Handyman skills (concrete, tools, wood, painting) are welcome for ongoing improvement projects.

In exchange, you get a shared dormitory room for 6-8 people with attached bathroom, air conditioner, and ceiling fan, plus a fully-equipped shared kitchen open 24 hours (self-catering; occasional communal dinners happen sporadically).

Minimum stay is one week. The hosts are looking for volunteers with energy, good vibes, social skills, punctuality, and cleanliness.
