Several years of professional software engineering experience with strong hands-on Java expertise. Proven experience managing an engineering team. Sound technical judgment for architecture discussions and familiarity with modern development practices including cloud-native architectures and CI/CD. Understanding of software quality and observability, and experience using engineering metrics such as DORA. Practical knowledge of AI-assisted development tools. Experience in agile product development. Strong people-management skills and the ability to turn ambiguous requirements into structured execution plans. Professional fluency in English. Must be based in Germany or Spain and work within plus or minus 2 hours of CET.
