Kenilworth Co-Living (Workaway Host)
Liz and Tim run a digital-nomad co-living and co-working space in Kenilworth, Cape Town, South Africa, and are hosting a Workaway volunteer as Community Manager.
You will create and co-create social and professional events for guests (minimum three per week), welcome new arrivals, provide member support, and act as the bridge between guests and management, including onboarding and offboarding residents. Commitment is 20 hours per week.
In exchange, you get a private furnished bedroom with desk, chair, WiFi and fresh weekly linens (shared bathroom), plus access to a communal sunroom with projector, a fully equipped shared kitchen, and a garden (a pool and gym are under construction). Meals are self-catering only, though the household encourages a shared weekly dinner.
Minimum stay is 2 months. The hosts are looking for someone with a digital-nomad, community-building mindset; three resident cats live on site and outside pets cannot be accommodated. No specific age is stated, but maturity and interpersonal skills are emphasized.
This is an unpaid work exchange (private room in exchange for work, no meals included) -- not a paid job and not visa sponsored. Apply directly through the host's Workaway listing.
