Camunda
Camunda is the enterprise platform for agentic orchestration, letting organisations coordinate AI agents, people and systems across complex end-to-end business processes with governance, auditability and human oversight built in. Over 700 organisations use it, including nine of the top ten US banks.
The company is fully remote and global, and is itself transforming into an AI-first organisation built on its own platform. It was named to GP Bullhound's Top 100 Next Unicorn list, is 2025 Great Place to Work certified, a Visionary in the 2025 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Business Orchestration and Automation Technologies, and ranked 3rd in Flexa's 2026 Most Flexible Companies.
THE ROLE
Camunda's Revenue Operations organisation is hiring a Senior GTM Systems AI and Automation Engineer to design, build and operate the AI-powered infrastructure connecting its go-to-market systems and removing manual work across Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Partnerships and Account Development.
You would join the GTM Systems team, a small group of builders who own a Salesforce-centric revenue stack, and take ownership of its AI and automation layer: agents, LLM integrations, MCP servers, retrieval pipelines, backend services and workflow orchestration.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
• Design, build and operate AI agents, LLM integrations and automations connecting Salesforce, Gainsight, Slack, Salesloft, Clari, HubSpot, Impartner and the rest of the GTM stack
• Own the architecture of the GTM Systems AI layer: MCP servers, APIs, retrieval and context pipelines, reusable agent tools and skills, and serverless or containerised services on Google Cloud Platform
• Ship production-grade LLM capabilities including prompt engineering, RAG, function calling, structured outputs and automated evaluations, with matching guardrails: validation, fallback logic, confidence thresholds, human escalation paths, access controls, audit logging, and cost and latency management
• Partner with Revenue Operations, Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Partnerships and SDR leaders to identify and prioritise automation opportunities
• Raise the engineering bar through code review, automated testing, CI/CD, security governance, observability and documentation, and mentor teammates on responsible AI-assisted development
• Design and deploy workflows on orchestration platforms such as Camunda and Clay, and create playbooks so GTM teams can operate automations independently
MUST HAVES
• 5+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 2 years shipping LLM or AI capabilities into production business workflows or internal tools
• Strong Python and JavaScript/TypeScript with mature Git-based habits
• Hands-on command of LLM patterns and their failure modes and mitigations
• Experience integrating with Salesforce via REST, Bulk and Streaming APIs, plus a cloud platform, GCP preferred
• Ability to own a problem end to end with minimal guidance, and communicate clearly in a remote asynchronous environment
NICE TO HAVES
Model Context Protocol or similar standards, agent frameworks, vector databases such as pgvector, Pinecone, Weaviate or ChromaDB, AI observability tooling such as LangSmith or Weights and Biases, Revenue Operations or GTM Systems background in B2B SaaS, and Salesforce certifications.
