Several roles, one posting

Worth knowing up front: Sanity states it has several roles open ranging from Senior to Staff level, with the final level decided during the interview process. So a strong Senior candidate is not applying to the wrong listing.

The role

This is the technical lead on Sanity's most complex enterprise deals. You would own the full pre-sales journey — first strategic engagement, architecture scoping, proof of concept, onboarding — working alongside Sales, Marketing, Product and Customer Engagement, and being the person people turn to when the technical stakes are highest.

Beyond individual deals, you would build the tools, frameworks and enablement material the wider Solutions Engineering team relies on, mentor other SEs, and help define what good looks like.

What you would do

• Architecting and leading complex demos for enterprise prospects and strategic partners
• Owning the technical narrative in any room, from C-suite boardrooms to deep-dive engineering sessions
• Educating customers on the platform at an advanced level — capabilities, philosophy, and the strategic case for structured content at scale
• Guiding customers through RFPs, architecture reviews and proofs of concept
• Building and maintaining showcase implementations, enablement programmes and best-practice guides
• Sharing engineering expertise across complex verticals and advanced use cases, and troubleshooting when things get tricky
• Representing strategic customer requirements to product and engineering, and influencing the roadmap
• Mentoring the broader SE team

About you

• Previous experience in enterprise solution selling, including Fortune 500 accounts and decision-makers up to C-level
• Strong coding ability — JavaScript, React, APIs, JSON, Git — with the ability to design and demonstrate working technical solutions
• Exceptional communication: making a complex architecture feel obvious to an executive, and a business problem feel urgent to an engineer
• Proven discovery skills — leading a room, uncovering real pain, mapping it to a path forward
• Familiarity with CMS and content operations, and genuine curiosity about where AI fits in
• Creative, structured, autonomous, and comfortable leading without a finished playbook
