Mountain Host - Winter 2026/27 (Alyeska Resort, Girdwood, Alaska - Employee Housing)

Cultivate a culture of safety and fun on the mountain. Assist guests in the parking lots and base facilities with directions, information and hospitality. Set up ski information boards, racks and picnic tables, and remove snow with shovels or snow blowers. Perform lift line control and lift-down assistance. Conduct two hourly mountain tours daily and promote resort offerings at lift locations. Monitor runs for injured or distressed guests and stay with them until patrol arrives. Maintain current knowledge of resort services and community offerings, attend team meetings and contribute ideas to improve the guest experience.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent skiing or snowboarding ability in variable snow conditions and thorough knowledge of the resort trails and lifts, or a willingness to learn them. High school diploma or GED. Basic computer and Microsoft Office proficiency. Ability to lift 25 pounds, stand for extended periods and work in extreme weather and high winds. Must be eligible for employment in the United States.
