Assistant Manager, Terrain Park - Okemo Mountain Resort - Winter 2026/27 (Staff Housing Available)

Assist with hiring, training and scheduling terrain park staff and serve as acting supervisor in the manager absence. Track labor, materials and supplies with accurate documentation. Supervise and develop Terrain Park Attendants. Conduct regular terrain park inspections for safety and quality, and manage signage, fencing and feature closures. Enforce safety guidelines and company policies. Contribute to feature design and lead park construction, coordinating with the snowmaking and grooming teams. Investigate incidents, address guest concerns, operate two-way radio communication and support special events and other departments as assigned.

High school diploma or equivalent. 2 or more years of mountain operations experience and 2 or more years of supervisory experience. Valid driver license and ability to operate a snowmobile and UTV. Basic knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite and strong verbal and written English communication. Familiarity with terrain park trends and feature design and expert-level skiing or snowboarding ability. Schedule flexibility for mornings, nights, weekends and holidays. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and work extended periods in cold, snowy and windy mountain conditions. At least 18 years of age. Preferred: familiarity with Vail Resorts systems, snow grooming equipment experience, metal fabrication or carpentry skills.
