Engineering Team Lead

GR8 Tech, a technology provider for the iGaming and sportsbook industry, is hiring an Engineering Team Lead to run delivery for one of its engineering teams. The role is listed as "Anywhere," making it open to remote candidates globally.

This is a people-and-delivery leadership role rather than a hands-on architecture position: the Tech Lead on the team owns technical direction, while this role owns whether the team actually ships — on time, at quality, and sustainably.

Responsibilities:

• Own predictable, on-time delivery within the team, balancing speed, quality, and sustainability
• Manage end-to-end initiatives, unblock the team, and give stakeholders clear visibility into progress
• Improve team delivery processes and ensure operational compliance
• Work alongside the team's Tech Lead to manage and reduce technical debt
• Directly manage team members through 1:1s, performance cycles, and goal-setting
• Participate in hiring decisions for the team
• Optimize team capacity and workload distribution, and flag resource gaps to leadership

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in engineering delivery management with direct team leadership in a product or platform environment
• Project and delivery management expertise, comfortable with flexible/agile methodologies
• Experience with team-level resource planning and capacity management
• Working knowledge of engineering practices, CI/CD, and quality assurance
• A data-driven approach to decision-making
• Strong cross-functional stakeholder coordination skills
• English proficiency at a B2+ level
• Ukrainian or Russian proficiency at a B2 level
