Tether is hiring a DevOps Engineer to architect, implement, and maintain end-to-end CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, with a strong focus on test-driven deployment, automated release management, and Infrastructure as Code. This is a fully remote, 100% distributed role: Tether is hiring the same position in parallel from Romania, Pakistan, Brazil, Portugal, Nigeria, Argentina, Switzerland, Spain, and the United Kingdom, rather than tying it to a single office.

Lead CI/CD pipeline design and implementation using GitHub Actions, with test-driven deployment and automated release management. Containerize services with Docker, and manage build, compilation, and publishing workflows for JavaScript, TypeScript, and C++ packages. Design multi-language build pipelines using CMake or similar tools, and automate build, tagging, and publication across web, desktop, and mobile platforms. Define and manage Infrastructure as Code, collaborate closely with development and operations teams, and improve observability and monitoring systems.
Three or more years of hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and release automation. Practical experience with Docker containerization, Infrastructure as Code, and multi-language build systems spanning JavaScript, TypeScript, and C++. Comfort working fully remotely as part of a distributed team; this posting is open to candidates in Romania, Pakistan, Brazil, Portugal, Nigeria, Argentina, Switzerland, Spain, or the United Kingdom.
