Chef de Partie – Club Med Resorts, Spain or Overseas

Club Med is hiring a Chef de Partie for its resorts, recruiting in Spain with the possibility of placement overseas. Job ID R-496, Hospitality and Catering family, seasonal contract.

This is a section-lead kitchen role at real volume, in resorts Club Med describes as among the most photogenic locations in the world.

WHAT YOU WOULD DO

• Supervise a team of 4 to 6 chefs
• Manage orders and stocks for your section, covering hot, cold and breakfast
• Check the setting up, appeal and replenishment of buffets serving 600 to 1,000 covers per service
• Offer a plating-up service at the buffet or in the bistronomic restaurant, personalising the guest relationship
• Guarantee service quality, compliance with Club Med health and safety rules, and maintenance of resort assets
• Unite and motivate your team around defined objectives and support their development

Club Med's catering offer is built on five pillars: creating memorable experiences, surprising guests through varied conceptual catering spaces, working for everyone's wellbeing including your own, playing on emotion and the senses through staging, and doing it in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

The "or overseas" in the title matters: you apply from Spain, but placement can be at Club Med resorts elsewhere in the world.

ABOUT CLUB MED

Club Med invented the all-inclusive holiday and runs nearly 70 resorts across 26 countries, open summer and winter. Resort staff are known as G.O (Gentle Organizer) and G.E (Gentle Employee).

Three seasons operate: spring, summer and winter. Ski and mountain roles recruit for winter, watersports and beach roles for summer. Some countries recruit year-round.
