Bolt
Bolt, the European mobility super-app headquartered in Tallinn, Estonia, is hiring an AI / Agent Engineer for its People & Workplace team, based on-site at its Tallinn headquarters.
This role sits inside Bolt's internal People & Workplace function rather than a customer-facing product team: the goal is to build AI agents and LLM-powered automation that remove manual effort from Bolt's internal people processes, from implementation through production support.
Responsibilities:
• Design and build AI agents and LLM-powered automation for internal People & Workplace processes
• Take projects from initial implementation through to production support and iteration
• Work closely with People & Workplace stakeholders to identify manual, repetitive processes suited to automation
• Integrate AI tooling with Bolt's existing internal systems and workflows
• Monitor and maintain deployed agents, addressing issues and improving reliability over time
Requirements:
• Hands-on engineering experience building AI agents or LLM-powered automation
• Comfort working across the full lifecycle of an internal tool, from prototype to production
• Ability to work on-site at Bolt's Tallinn headquarters
• Strong communication skills for working directly with non-technical internal stakeholders
Visa sponsorship and relocation:
This role is based in Tallinn and is covered by Bolt's company-wide Global Mobility relocation program, which the company describes as having relocated more than 1,000 people from over 80 countries. Bolt's stated relocation support includes guidance through the full immigration and work-permit process and paperwork, flight arrangements and temporary accommodation on arrival, a budget for shipping personal belongings (including pets), support finding permanent housing, local registration and healthcare setup, and free Estonian language classes for longer-term relocators. Guidance on schools and family adaptation is also available for relocating families.
What Bolt offers:
• Full visa/work-permit and relocation support through Bolt's in-house Global Mobility team
• The opportunity to build internal AI tooling at one of Europe's largest mobility platforms
• A base in Tallinn, Estonia's tech-forward capital and one of the most digitally advanced small cities in Europe
• Direct, close-quarters work with internal stakeholders rather than a large, siloed engineering org
Estonia is known for its "e-Residency" and broader digital-government reputation, and Bolt is one of the country's flagship tech employers, making Tallinn a well-trodden relocation destination for engineers moving from outside the EU.
