Software Engineer – Grafana Cloud Integrations

Grafana Labs is hiring a Software Engineer for its Grafana Cloud Integrations team.

LOCATION, WHICH IS BROADER THAN THE TITLE SUGGESTS

The header says Germany, but the body states: "This role is available for candidates located in the UK, Germany, Spain, Ireland and Sweden." Five countries. Filed as Europe.

WHAT YOU WOULD DO

• Develop and maintain features as part of Observability solutions in Grafana Cloud
• Contribute to the design and implementation of high-quality, scalable integrations for infrastructure components, databases and applications
• Build prototypes and present your ideas as part of a cross-functional team
• Stay current with cloud native technologies and development methodologies
• Represent Grafana Labs at meetups, conferences and in social media forums

WHAT THEY ARE LOOKING FOR

• Experience in software engineering, site reliability engineering or related disciplines
• Solid experience with at least one programming language. Grafana use Go and TypeScript, but Python, Rust, C or C++ translate well
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and within a cross-functional team
• Proficient written and verbal English

Familiarity with observability tooling such as Grafana, Prometheus or OpenTelemetry, and open source contribution experience, are advantages.

This is one of the more accessible engineering roles on Grafana's board, pitched below senior level.
