Staff Backend Engineer – Alerting

Grafana Labs is hiring a Staff Backend Engineer for its Alerting squad, based in Sweden and working remotely.

THE TEAM

The Alerting squad operates at the core of the Grafana open source project, with a mission to provide the most in-depth way for users to manage their alerts. The backend-focused team works closely with customers and the Grafana Cloud teams to make Alerting work both on-premises and at very large scale in Cloud.

Recent work includes building distributed systems to scale alert ingestion and delivery of Prometheus-based alerts.

WHAT THEY ARE LOOKING FOR

• Experience developing software that runs in the cloud, or systems engineering experience
• Experience writing clean, robust and performant software that others can easily maintain

COMPENSATION

In Sweden the range for this role is SEK 878,578 to SEK 1,054,294, plus Restricted Stock Units.
