Software Engineering
Resend
Resend is hiring a software engineer to build the trust and safety systems behind its email platform. You will build a real-time enforcement layer that works within millisecond latency budgets and decides whether to allow, block or reverse activity across sending, receiving and account behavior. The work covers writing detection rules that are safe to change, catching account takeover and leaked API keys without locking out real owners, and building spam and phishing classifiers that prove their precision before they enforce anything. Every block needs a recorded reason so the team can measure how accurate each detection is. You will also automate investigations, appeals and bulk actions, and every enforcement action must be traceable through logs, metrics and audit trails. The role is fully remote for candidates based in Americas or European timezones, with some travel for offsites and meetups. Stated pay is 150,000 to 175,000 US dollars, commensurate with location and experience.
