Lodge Park Hotel & Spa
Lodge Park Hotel & Spa is a five-star hotel in Soldeu, one of the main villages inside the Grandvalira ski area in Andorra. The hotel is hiring a Receptionist for the winter 2026/27 season, with a start date in late November or early December 2026 to cover the resort's busiest months on the mountain.
Soldeu sits directly on the slopes of Grandvalira, the largest ski area in the Pyrenees, so this role puts you in the middle of one of Europe's most active winter destinations without the cost of a major Alpine resort town. Andorra runs on a mix of Spanish, French, and Catalan, and English is widely used in tourism, so the day to day work is manageable even without fluent Spanish or Catalan from the start.
As Receptionist, you will be the first and last point of contact for guests staying at the hotel. Day to day responsibilities include:
• Checking guests in and out, handling reservations and walk-ins
• Answering phone and email inquiries about bookings, rates, and availability
• Coordinating with housekeeping and food and beverage teams on guest requests
• Handling payments, invoicing, and basic cash management
• Providing recommendations on ski passes, lift access, equipment rental, and local activities
• Resolving guest complaints and escalating issues to management where needed
• Keeping the front desk organized and covering shifts across the reception schedule
The hotel operates spa facilities alongside its rooms and restaurant, so receptionists also field questions about spa bookings and treatments, and coordinate scheduling between departments during busy periods, particularly around weekends and school holiday weeks when the resort fills up fastest.
Compensation is structured as a fixed salary plus variable pay tied to the season, which is standard across Andorran ski hospitality contracts. Exact figures are confirmed during the hiring process and depend on experience and language skills. Staff accommodation is available for the season, and employees have access to a staff canteen, which covers a meaningful part of the cost of living during a winter contract in the Pyrenees.
Andorra is not in the European Union but participates in a customs union with it, and non-EU nationals do need to sort out a work permit before starting; the hotel's HR team walks new hires through this as part of onboarding rather than leaving it to the applicant to figure out alone. Previous front desk, reception, or customer-facing hospitality experience is preferred but not mandatory. What matters more is comfort speaking with guests from a wide mix of countries, basic computer literacy for booking and reservation software, and the ability to stay composed and organized during high-volume check-in and check-out windows.
Soldeu is reachable by bus from Andorra la Vella, and most seasonal staff travel in from Spain or France since Andorra has no airport or train station of its own; the nearest airports are in Barcelona, Toulouse, and Perpignan, each a few hours away by road. Staff typically base themselves in the provided accommodation near the resort for the length of the contract rather than commuting daily, given the mountain roads and winter driving conditions.
This is a genuinely seasonal contract tied to the Grandvalira winter season, which typically runs from late November through mid-April, so it suits people looking for a defined stretch of work in one location rather than a permanent relocation. A number of staff who take seasonal hospitality roles in Andorra return for multiple winters once they know the resort, the town, and the rhythm of the season.
To apply, submit a CV through the hotel's own careers page. The hotel manages hiring for its seasonal positions directly rather than through a recruitment agency or third-party job board, so applications go straight to their HR team rather than sitting in an aggregator queue.
