Software Engineering
Raya
Raya is hiring a Quality and Release Manager to own release systems, quality gates and testing strategy for its consumer iOS app.
You would own QA strategy across automated and manual testing, run the release process end to end from cut and freeze through App Store submission and phased rollout, define go/no-go criteria, and maintain the release calendar and quality scorecards for leadership.
Requires 6+ years in software quality or release management with 3+ years managing people, deep knowledge of the App Store release lifecycle including TestFlight and phased release, and experience with subscription and payment flows on iOS. Fluency with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions is expected.
ABOUT RAYA
Raya is a membership-based iOS-only app focused on discovery of and access to interesting people, events, opportunities and recommendations, built around trust, creativity and reciprocity rather than time-spent metrics.
WHAT RAYA OFFERS ALL EMPLOYEES
Comprehensive medical and dental coverage, a $50 a day food delivery budget, equity-based compensation, unlimited vacation, 12 weeks paid parental leave, and a genuinely unusual perk: $1,000 a year toward travelling somewhere in the world you have never been, based on the company's stated values of human connection, empathy and curiosity.
LOCATION
The listing itself only says Remote, with no country named in the job description. However, Raya's own structured job data and multiple independent job boards confirm this role requires candidates to be located in the United States. It is filed here as United States remote rather than Worldwide for that reason.
BEFORE YOU APPLY
Raya discloses that it may use AI tools to support parts of the hiring process, including reviewing applications and analysing resumes, with final hiring decisions made by humans.
