The Town of Jackson, Wyoming, the gateway town to Grand Teton National Park and Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, is hiring a few qualified, motivated professionals to serve the community this winter as Public Works Winter Street Operators. This is a fixed-season municipal position running November 15 through April 15 at 40 hours per week, with a start date of November 16, 2026. Pay is USD 30.00 to 33.00 per hour depending on qualifications. The primary work is snow removal, including plowing, hauling and heavy equipment operation, plus street sweeping, with secondary duties such as boardwalk repair, sign maintenance, meter repair and equipment inventory depending on snowfall. The town states that below-market rental housing options may be available on a first-come, first-served basis, with single and family units and pet-friendly options, which is a rare benefit in one of the most expensive mountain towns in the United States.
