International Accountant (WorkMotion, Remote: Spain, Portugal, Austria, UK, Germany or Poland)

Manage day-to-day accounting operations across multiple international entities while maintaining compliance with local and international accounting standards. Prepare financial reports and ensure the accuracy of financial statements. Handle VAT and tax filings and coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors. Support process improvements and automation within the finance department and collaborate with colleagues across a multicultural, distributed team.

Five to nine years of accounting experience in international or multi-company settings, with strong knowledge of accounting principles and VAT compliance. Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or NetSuite, advanced Excel, and fluent English. Analytical, detail-oriented and comfortable collaborating across cultures and time zones. Must be based within roughly two hours of Central European Time, in one of the six posting countries (Spain, Portugal, Austria, United Kingdom, Germany or Poland).
