GitLab
GitLab is hiring an Intermediate Backend Engineer for its AMER region, open to candidates working remotely from Canada or the United States. GitLab is an all-remote company: every role is remote, though some roles carry location-based eligibility requirements, and this one is scoped to Canada and the US. You will build and ship backend features across GitLab's Ruby on Rails and Go codebases, working asynchronously with a globally distributed engineering organization and using AI coding tools as a normal part of daily engineering work. GitLab lists a base salary range of 115,200 to 194,400 USD for US-based hires, excluding bonus, equity and benefits; compensation for Canada is set by GitLab's location-based pay calculator.
