Software Engineer, Automated Trading

Cobblestone Energy, an energy trading firm, is hiring a Software Engineer, Automated Trading for its Dubai, UAE office, with visa sponsorship and relocation assistance provided.

You will design and optimize high-performance automated trading and infrastructure systems, collaborate with traders on real-time market data pipelines, automated order execution, and risk management, ensure reliability through testing, code reviews, and continuous deployment practices, monitor system performance, latency, and throughput, and resolve production issues while mentoring junior engineers.

Requirements: a BS/BE in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, 2-5 years of hands-on development experience in C#, C++, or Python, proven trading-systems experience with an understanding of orderbook structure and trade execution, strong database design and low-latency system architecture knowledge, and leadership capability with collaborative communication skills.

Compensation: $80,000-$120,000 annually plus a performance-based bonus, in Dubai's 0% personal income tax environment. This is a full-time, permanent, on-site role.
