Cloud Platform Engineer (Supabase, Remote: Global)

Design and implement cloud governance across AWS and GCP, including identity, account organization, access controls and guardrails. Build reusable infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code. Create self-service capabilities for engineers. Own resource governance and visibility: tagging, inventory, ownership tracking and cross-account billing data. Develop security primitives such as secrets storage, KMS, certificate management, token vending, service authentication and mTLS. Own network and operational primitives including IP address management, DNS and quota alerting. Operate what you build and share cloud best practices.

5+ years in cloud governance, platform engineering or operations, including running production systems and on-call duties. Experience with a significant migration, such as restructuring AWS accounts, introducing IaC, centralizing SSO or bringing a second cloud under governance. Interest in building internal platforms and self-service experiences. Deep expertise in at least one of tooling and ecosystem (AWS, IAM, SSO, IaC, compliance), software engineering (production code in Go, Rust or similar), or operations (on-call, alerting, SLOs, runbooks). Clear communication in asynchronous, globally distributed teams.
