Senior Site Reliability Engineer - Infrastructure (Berlin or Barcelona, Relocation + Visa Support)

N26 is hiring a Senior Site Reliability Engineer for the Scalability Team in Platform Engineering (Tech - Runtime Platform), based in Berlin or Barcelona. The team builds container orchestration solutions as part of a mission to provide self-service platforms for product teams. N26 states: "A relocation package with visa support for those who need it."

Design, build and own products and solutions that improve the security, reliability and scalability of N26 cloud infrastructure in the workload orchestration area. Work with product managers, customers and other stakeholders to understand their needs, take an active part in strategy, roadmap definition and prioritisation, and mentor teammates while continuing to grow cloud knowledge.

Hands-on production experience designing, implementing and maintaining Kubernetes clusters, extensive knowledge of AWS infrastructure and services, solid Go experience, and prior work with Linux, Terraform and continuous delivery tools such as Argo. Networking experience with service mesh solutions like Istio, and experience with monitoring, troubleshooting and incident management. Backend development experience is a nice-to-have.
