Deal Desk supports quoting, pricing and booking transactions and is the main liaison between Sales and Finance. The team is distributed across several European countries and must meet service level agreements. GitLab is an all-remote company. Lead the EMEA Deal Desk team, including hiring, enablement, operating rhythm and continuous improvement. Own the end-to-end service model for Deal Desk and Order Management across EMEA. Serve as the regional escalation point for complex, non-standard and strategic deals. Align EMEA practices with global policy while accounting for currency, local terms and data residency. Advise Sales leadership on deal quality, pricing discipline, exceptions and commercial strategy. Produce executive-level reporting on discounts, cycle times, exception rates and pricing impact. Ensure complex deal structures hand off cleanly to billing, fulfillment and revenue recognition.
Several years of manager experience in Deal Desk, Pricing, Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, Finance Operations or a related quote-to-cash function in enterprise SaaS, ideally with EMEA or multi-country exposure. Proven success leading Deal Desk teams in fast-growing sales organizations. Solid understanding of SaaS pricing models. Working knowledge of bookings policy, revenue recognition, audit readiness and public-company compliance. Experience with approval workflows, SLAs and CRM or CPQ-enabled quoting. Strong communication skills and experience leading a regional team through change.
