Wageningen University and Research is hiring a PhD researcher to study how atmospheric nitrogen deposition changes plant and insect diversity. The work combines field studies across the Netherlands, Germany, Denmark and Sweden with feeding experiments on insect herbivores and pollinators, linking soil chemistry, plant nutrient content and arthropod communities. You will also co-supervise MSc students. Salary is EUR 3,204 to 4,051 gross per month (38 hours a week) on an 18-month fixed-term contract that can extend to 48 months in total.
