Hennum's Oak Island Lodge, a 70-year-old family-owned fishing lodge hosting up to 70 guests on Oak Island in the Northwest Angle of Minnesota on Lake of the Woods, is hiring Housekeepers for its Winter 2026/27 ice fishing season. The season runs from mid December through mid to late March, with an option to return for the summer season from May to mid October. Pay is 15.00 to 21.00 dollars per hour plus tips. Room and board are included: every employee gets a private bedroom and bathroom with a microwave, small fridge, TV and WiFi, and meals are prepared at the lodge. The island is reached by boat or Bombardier snow vehicle, and transportation to and from the mainland at Baudette or Young's Bay/Angle Inlet is complimentary; no passport is required.
