Deliver new features and bug fixes with a focus on reliability and performance. Design and develop tools that enable new AI capabilities across different model types. Build and maintain agent harnesses covering tool calling, agent loops, context management and structured outputs. Implement and extend P2P technology so AI can run locally and peer to peer. Maintain high codebase quality through coding standards, code reviews and automated testing. Collaborate asynchronously with a fully remote, globally distributed engineering team.
5 or more years building production software with hands-on experience in P2P or distributed systems or AI and LLM tooling. Practical experience building agent harnesses including tool calling, agent loops and context management. Experience designing evals and test infrastructure for non-deterministic systems. Strong JavaScript and TypeScript skills with the ability to model complex state. Experience creating and managing npm modules. Experience designing for failure: network partitions, timeouts and retries. Open-source contributions to P2P, networking or AI projects are a plus. Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
