Own features end to end: design the data architecture, build the API with Python and FastAPI, and ship the UI in Vue 3 or React with TypeScript and Tailwind CSS. Build data-dense product UIs such as interactive charts, editable tables and drag-and-drop planning tools, keeping them fast with server-state patterns like TanStack Query. Write high-performance SQL over millions of data points per customer. Test what you ship with pytest, Playwright and Vitest. Design architectures that scale and grow with the company, and use AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Codex and OpenCode to parallelize work. Work directly with consumer packaged goods operators and own product outcomes.
Hands-on experience with Python and FastAPI on the backend and Vue 3 (or deep React experience and willingness to switch), TypeScript and Tailwind CSS on the frontend, with a track record of shipping real full-stack products end to end. Proficiency in SQL and high-performance query design. Strong system design skills. A habit of automated testing. Excitement to work directly with CPG operators and to join a high-ownership, fast-moving team based in New York City.
