Senior Cyber Security Engineer

Aave Labs — the team behind the Aave Protocol, the world's largest and most trusted onchain lending market connecting decentralised finance with individuals and traditional finance — is hiring a Senior Cyber Security Engineer to make a measurable impact on its security posture as part of a blended and agile ICT and security team. Fully remote from anywhere in Europe (or hybrid from Dublin or London), you'll work directly under the CISO and own both operational and architectural security responsibilities: supporting the managed SIEM as the final escalation point, securing identity and SSO through the IDP, hardening SaaS vendor usage and Google Workspace, aiding DevOps with cloud and SDLC security, managing the joiners/leavers/movers process, trialling new infosec stack additions, and architecting Web3 security and monitoring systems. The role requires five or more years of senior cybersecurity experience, cloud architecture security, and ideally experience in both startup and Web3 environments.
