Canonical — the company behind Ubuntu, the world's most widely deployed open source platform powering cloud, AI, IoT, and enterprise infrastructure for 1,200+ colleagues across 75+ countries — is hiring a Channel Partner Sales Executive in a fully home-based, worldwide role to capitalise on rapidly growing demand through its reseller and distributor network. You'll develop and execute channel strategy within an assigned territory, identify and recruit new reseller and distributor partners, guide them through onboarding and enablement, build joint go-to-market plans, run sales and pre-sales training sessions, and maintain a high-frequency cadence with priority partners. Canonical has operated as a globally distributed remote-first company since 2004, teams meet in person two to four times per year in interesting locations worldwide, and every colleague receives a personal learning and development budget of USD 2,000 per year plus Priority Pass for long-haul company travel. The role requires a background in software or technology sales, fluency in English, an understanding of open source and Linux, and strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
