Mozilla is hiring a Senior Security Engineer for its Security Operations team to monitor and respond to security incidents across Mozilla products and services at global scale. Identify and respond to security incidents globally and serve as incident commander throughout the response lifecycle. Design and maintain security alerts, automated actions, playbooks and escalation workflows supporting 24/7 incident response. Conduct threat hunting and anticipate emerging threats. Research threat intelligence reports and manage the resulting workflows. Communicate with stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and participate in on-call rotations.
At least 5 years managing security incidents at scale or working in a SOC, PSIRT or CSIRT. Proficiency with SIEM systems such as Splunk, ELK or Google BigQuery, endpoint detection and investigation tools, and SOAR platforms such as Tines or Splunk SOAR. Experience with cloud technologies such as GCP, AWS, Azure or Heroku. Excellent communication and leadership skills and the ability to partner with diverse stakeholders. Software development or engineering operations experience with consumer products and a technology-focused degree are preferred.
