Senior Data Engineer (Camunda, Fully Remote: UK or US)

Lead improvements to Camunda's data infrastructure and architecture. Optimize query design and performance across the data platform. Build monitoring for data pipelines and implement DataOps best practices. Partner with teams across Camunda to champion good data acquisition, storage and stewardship practices. Deploy and operate cloud-based batch and streaming data pipelines using Infrastructure as Code.

Five or more years of experience in data engineering or machine learning roles, ideally including work in AI-native environments. Strong data modeling skills and several years of dbt experience. Experience deploying and operating cloud data pipelines (batch and streaming) and using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform. Ownership mindset suited to a small team, willingness to use Camunda's own product, strong communication and collaboration skills, and a passion for clean code and automated tests. Must be based in the United Kingdom or United States (the posting's listed locations).
