Mujin
Mujin, a Tokyo-headquartered industrial robotics software company behind the MujinOS intelligent robot operating system, is hiring a Robotics Algorithm Engineer to build packing and space-optimization algorithms for its logistics and warehouse automation customers. The role is based in Tokyo, and Mujin explicitly offers full visa sponsorship and relocation support for overseas applicants, including flight coverage, shipping assistance, and help finding housing.
Design and implement robust algorithms for 3D bin packing, container and trailer loading, and space optimization. Integrate packing logic with motion planning and digital-twin workflows used across Mujin's robotic systems. Collaborate with robotics, perception, and systems teams to align algorithms with real-world physical and operational constraints. Profile and optimize algorithms for real-time performance in live logistics environments. Translate ambiguous, real-world constraints from customer sites into production-ready solutions.
