TestGorilla, the skills-based hiring platform founded as a 100 percent remote company in 2020, is hiring a Revenue and Billing Analyst to own the financial side of its customer lifecycle: billing, accounts receivable and collections, plus the reconciliations and reporting that keep revenue numbers trustworthy. You will join a lean three-person, AI-empowered Finance team, working directly with the Head of Finance and the Senior Financial Controller, with broad ownership from day one. Billing, AR, collections and reconciliation are core, permanent responsibilities, and as you learn the systems you will take ownership of MRR and ARR reporting and improve the manual workflows behind it. Listed locations are the EMEA+ time zone band (UTC 0 to UTC+8) with APAC and the Americas (UTC-7 to UTC-4) as secondary locations. Compensation is 43,440 to 54,300 euros per year plus Share Appreciation Rights. You will be hired as an individual contractor. Own customer billing end to end, including invoicing, subscription changes, payment queries, refunds, failed payment recovery, credit notes and corrections within approval limits, working with Customer Success on complex or sensitive cases. Own accounts receivable, collections and dunning via Upflow, resolving failed payments and billing disputes directly with customers. Find the root cause of recurring billing issues and fix the underlying process. Own reconciliations across billing, payments, subscription reporting and the ledger, and produce MRR and ARR movement reporting and analysis. Improve and introduce Finance automations around AR, billing and reporting, moving routine work toward exception-based processing. Support billing platform, pricing and packaging changes from a Finance perspective, partnering with Product and Engineering when technical changes are needed.
Excellent written and verbal English. Thrives in a high-autonomy, async-first, remote-only environment. Has personally owned customer billing and AR or collections, including investigating exceptions through to resolution, and has resolved complex billing or payment issues directly with customers. Experience with customer billing in a subscription or recurring-revenue business. Skilled at reconciliation and able to work out independently why two datasets disagree. Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills. Can point to a recurring Finance process they improved and is comfortable using AI and automation to reduce manual work. Most candidates will have at least four years of relevant experience. Bonus: subscription billing platforms (Chargebee, Zuora, Recurly, Stripe Billing, Maxio, Paddle), collections tools (Upflow, Tesorio), MRR/ARR/churn reporting, SQL or BI tools (Looker, Metabase, Power BI, Holistics), automation tools (Claude, n8n, Zapier, Make, Python), multi-currency billing or ERP migrations, an accounting qualification. Must be located in a country on TestGorilla's hiring list with at least five hours of daily overlap with the UK.
