Own the EU tax product surface and drive Alpaca's brokerage strategy across EU markets. Build and execute product roadmaps for market access, tax-wrapper functionality, direct connectivity and broker partnerships. Write clear product requirements and work with engineering, compliance and operations to ship. Collaborate with regulators and external partners. Improve operational efficiency across brokerage workflows. Lead customer calls with financial institutions and report progress to internal stakeholders.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, finance or equivalent. 5 plus years of experience in product management, engineering, consulting and/or founding a startup, preferably within financial services or fintech. Strong understanding of MiFID II/MiFIR and EU capital markets. Strong English communication and collaboration abilities. Nice to have: EU brokerage product development experience, a technical API background, familiarity with CSDR and EMIR, experience shipping tax-wrapper products, cross-border product experience, additional EU languages and fintech startup experience.
