Middle Next.js Developer (Ruby Labs, Fully Remote: Any Country Within +/- 4 Hours of CET)

Develop features end to end across the Next.js frontend and the Fastify and Payload CMS backend inside a TypeScript monorepo. Write code that follows Feature-Sliced Design conventions with strict import rules. Ship features with unit, integration and end-to-end tests plus observability. Integrate third-party providers through REST APIs and webhooks. Own code quality through self-review and peer review. Optimize performance across rendering, caching, database queries and bundle size.

2 or more years of commercial React experience and at least 1 year with Next.js (App Router, Server Components, route handlers). Node.js backend experience with a typed framework such as Fastify, Nest or Express, plus PostgreSQL. Proficiency with TanStack Query, Zustand, React Hook Form, Zod, Tailwind CSS and component libraries. Experience with a code-first headless CMS such as Payload, Strapi or Directus. Testing discipline with Cypress or Playwright and Vitest or Jest, and solid Git flow. Daily use of AI coding tools such as Claude Code while taking full ownership of code quality. English at B1 level or above. Must be located within roughly 4 hours of CET.
