Global Controller

Lead the monthly and quarterly close and financial reporting process, with a goal of cutting close time from roughly ten days to six to eight days within twelve months. Own revenue accounting under ASC 606 for subscription and usage-based recognition, including authoring technical accounting memos on contract modifications and variable consideration. Manage equity compensation accounting under ASC 718. Lead a team of about seven accounting professionals and build control frameworks suited to a global, remote-first operation. Oversee the accounting systems roadmap across NetSuite, Stripe, Ramp, Avalara, and FloQast, manage treasury operations and banking relationships, and coordinate external audit and tax compliance.

Ten or more years of progressive accounting experience including team leadership, with a Big Four public accounting foundation and deep US GAAP expertise, particularly ASC 606. A track record of scaling an existing accounting function and leading external audits, plus a demonstrated automation or AI-driven process improvement with measurable results. SOX readiness, remote-company experience, M&A exposure, and an active CPA license are a plus.
