Skibound (Experience Education)
Skibound, the school ski-trip brand of Experience Education, is hiring Assistant ClubHotel Managers for the winter 2026/27 season in the French Alps, based in Alpe d'Huez, Les Menuires or Serre Chevalier. The season runs from mid-November 2026 to April 2027 on a French employment contract with a competitive seasonal salary paid in euros. As second-in-command to the Hotel Manager you will own the guest experience across the clubhotel, from staff scheduling and departmental oversight to financial reporting and hands-on support in housekeeping, dining service and maintenance. Accommodation is available on site (shared or individual room as part of the seasonnaire package) and meals are provided daily, including on days off. Applicants with EU documentation (EU passport, French residency permit or Carte de Sejour) are preferred; UK passport holders are considered but require a French work permit and visa. Act as second-in-command to the ClubHotel Manager and deputise in their absence. Oversee the day-to-day guest experience for visiting school groups across the clubhotel. Plan staff rotas and supervise housekeeping, dining and maintenance departments. Complete financial and operational reporting. Provide hands-on support with housekeeping, meal service and maintenance during busy periods. Uphold health, safety and safeguarding standards for young guests.
Prior management or team-leadership experience, ideally in hospitality, hotels or catering. Strong organisational and communication skills and a hands-on, guest-first attitude. Comfortable working long changeover days and living in resort for a full winter season (mid-November 2026 to April 2027). EU documentation preferred (EU passport, French residency permit or Carte de Sejour); UK passport holders considered but will need a French work permit and visa. Good spoken English; French is an advantage.
