iHub is where the East African tech ecosystem conversation began in 2010, and it remains the most historically significant coworking space on the continent. The current iteration continues the original mission with a focus on technology, innovation, and cross-sector programming. The membership community is predominantly Kenyan and East African, which gives it a different character from the more internationally-oriented Nairobi Garage. Research fellows, startup founders, and developers make up most of the membership.
