The Applied AI team builds AI agents, Retrieval-Augmented Generation systems, AI evaluation and observability tooling, and production LLM inference infrastructure across Circle's platform. You'll ship full-stack AI projects end-to-end in Ruby on Rails and React, design and run A/B experiments and AI evaluations, build and integrate AI infrastructure components, and help the team stay at the frontier of applied LLM research. Circle offers globally benchmarked compensation of $130,000–$140,000 USD per year with equity, 35 days of paid time off, comprehensive benefits, and twice-yearly company retreats in incredible destinations around the world (so far: Turkey, Portugal, Mexico, Thailand, Colombia, Italy, Ireland, and more).
