Senior Software Engineer (Remote)

Description

GiveDirectly is a leading international nonprofit delivering cash grants directly to people in extreme poverty, operating in 15 countries with over $1B raised since 2011. They are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to help scale their platform. You will work across programs engineering, fundraising engineering, and the International Rapid Response team with full ownership of your work. Travel 1-2 times per year to countries of operation.

Requirements

Senior-level backend engineering experience. Full SDLC ownership including architecture, testing, deployment, and monitoring. Strong communication skills in a distributed team. Mission-driven mindset. Ability to travel 1-2 times per year.
