Description

Tether — the company behind USDT, the world's most widely used stablecoin relied upon by hundreds of millions across exchanges, wallets, payment processors, and ATMs worldwide, and a portfolio spanning decentralised finance, AI infrastructure, sustainable Bitcoin mining, and digital education — is hiring a Technical Lead to drive development of cross-platform peer-to-peer applications built on the Pear Runtime and the broader Holepunch ecosystem. Working 100% remotely from anywhere in the world (with team members across London, Dublin, Dubai, Barcelona, Rome, Warsaw, Buenos Aires, Brussels, and many more cities), you'll define the technical direction for P2P application development, support engineers in day-to-day execution, act as the primary liaison between the team and Holepunch engineers upstream, and build flagship desktop (Electron) and mobile (React Native) applications that operate fully peer-to-peer with zero central servers. Tether operates as a lean, fast-moving team of world-class engineers distributed globally, working at the frontier of both decentralised finance and P2P networking technology.
