Lago — the leading open-source billing platform used by PayPal, CoreWeave, Synthesia, and Mistral.ai, backed by Y Combinator and FirstMark with $22M raised, with 10,000+ GitHub stars and a team of 12+ nationalities building the monetization infrastructure layer for AI-era businesses — is hiring a Technical Account Executive, working fully remotely from anywhere in Europe. This is a quota-carrying full sales cycle role in a high-talent, low-bureaucracy team: you'll prospect and build your own pipeline, lead demos and proof-of-concepts, run negotiations with technical and financial buyers, and help customers like engineering leaders, CTOs, and revenue teams understand how Lago's open-source billing approach gives them control and scalability that SaaS billing platforms cannot match. The role requires the ability to close, not just support — you own deals from first touch through signature. You don't need an engineering degree but you need real curiosity about APIs, integrations, and billing workflows, and a drive to become the most product-knowledgeable person in the room. Salary: €120,000–€150,000 OTE per year (flexible for the right candidate), plus stock options.
