Testlio — the fully managed crowdsourced testing platform powered by LeoAI Engine, serving enterprise clients with global coverage across 600,000+ devices, 800+ payment methods, 150+ countries, and 100+ languages, female-founded, with half the team identifying as women — is hiring a Principal Software Architect for its remote EMEA team, open specifically to candidates based in the United Kingdom, Poland, or Czech Republic. You will serve as a hands-on individual contributor shaping application and platform architecture, driving Testlio's transformation from a monolith to a distributed network of AI-powered testing services. Responsibilities include authoring clear architectural standards, designing and deploying scalable cloud-native services on AWS, integrating secure AI/LLM patterns into customer-facing surfaces, and advising executive and engineering teams on major technical tradeoffs. Requirements: 15+ years hands-on software development experience on cloud-native platforms; advanced mastery of distributed system patterns; proven monolith-to-microservice migration experience; deep AWS experience; practical production-grade AI/ML or LLM deployment experience. This is a contractor role paid monthly via Wise in USD, EUR, or GBP, with 15 days PTO, 5 sick days, up to 15 local public holidays, stock options, and a $300 annual education allowance.
